Moving between two wholesale platforms is easier than moving from a spreadsheet, because the data already has the right shape. The work is in the export, the season mapping, and deciding when to switch. This guide covers all three.

Switching B2B platforms mid-season is disruptive, so the question is usually not whether but when. The natural moment is between selling windows: after one season closes and before the next linesheet goes out.
The other consideration is your retailers. Buyers who already log in to a platform to order from several brands have a habit to break, so it is worth being explicit with them about what changes and when.
Ask for exports of your product data, your partner list, and your order history. Product data is the one that matters most: styles, colourways, size runs, prices per currency, and delivery windows.
Export terms vary by platform and plan, so confirm what you can retrieve before you give notice rather than after. If a clean export is not available, you are not blocked — a PDF linesheet can go straight to the product import agent, which reads it and returns a structured file to review.
The part most likely to need manual attention is the season structure. Season codes, preline versus main collection, and delivery windows are modelled differently by every platform, and they drive what buyers can order and when.
Set these up in Order41 first, then import products into them. It is considerably faster than importing products and re-dating them afterwards.
Build the next season fully in Order41 while the current one finishes where it is. Nothing is migrated twice, no open order moves mid-flight, and you get a full selling window to find the gaps.
Tell your team explicitly which system is authoritative from which date. Ambiguity here is what produces two versions of the same order.
If you can export it, yes. Decide first whether you need it inside Order41 or whether an archive is enough — most teams find the current and next season carry the value.
Send the PDF linesheet to the product import agent. It reads PDFs, spreadsheets, and screenshots, and returns a structured file you review before importing.
The import itself is fast. Plan around the season calendar rather than the data: the constraint is finding a window between selling periods, not the number of styles.
