Collect payments

Let buyers pay for orders by card through Stripe. Payments go directly to your Stripe account.

How it works

Connect your Stripe account once, then share an order link with your buyer as usual. The order page shows a payment button, where the buyer enters their card details and pays the full order amount. The money goes straight to your Stripe account, not through Order41, and Stripe pays it out to your bank account.

Before you start

Set up a Stripe Connect account: go to Settings → Collect payments and click Connect Stripe account.

Collecting payments is included in every Order41 plan.

Only workspace Admins can set up payment collection.

Connect your Stripe account

Go to Settings → Collect payments.

Click Connect Stripe account. Stripe guides you through creating a Stripe Connect account or signing in to an existing one. Have these ready: a valid ID, your company details such as your tax ID, and the bank account your payouts should go to.

Once the connection is set up, Settings → Collect payments shows Ready to collect payments.

How buyers pay

To ask a buyer to pay, share the order's normal link: open the order and use the Copy link button. Buyers also see all their orders in their own Order41 account.

At the top right of the order page, the buyer clicks Pay this order, which shows the amount due.

They are taken to a Stripe payment page, where they enter their card details and complete the payment.

Stripe sends them back to the order, which is now marked as paid.

Payouts, fees and refunds

Payouts: Stripe pays the money out to your bank account, usually within 3 working days.

Fees: Stripe's processing fees apply to every payment. On the Pro and Team plans, Order41 adds a fee of 1% per payment on top of Stripe's fees. On the Scale plan, there is no Order41 fee, only Stripe's.

Refunds: you issue refunds from your Stripe Connect account, which comes free when you connect Stripe in your Order41 settings.
